Create a New Private Account

Each illumineX wallet acts as a container that is able to hold multiple private accounts. Within your wallet, you can create as many private accounts as needed, each with its own unique private address (prefixed with ix..)

The private accounts are multi-currency, meaning you can hold all supported assets (such as BTC, ETH etc) in the same private (ix) address.

If you do not yet have an illumineX wallet, you need to Create a new wallet before you can generate new private accounts.

Creating a New Private Account

1. On the home page of your selected wallet, click “Create account”

2. A modal to create a new sub-account will appear. Add an optional description for your new account if you want to do so, and click “Create” when you are ready.

Success

You have now created a new private account. You can create as many private accounts as needed within your illumineX wallet. Each private account is unique, has its unique private address, and will be accessible only from the same illumineX wallet that it was derived from.

Managing your private account

You can manage your accounts after creating them, including:

• Add a description to your account by clicking the pen icon inside the account window.

• Expand or collapse the account window by clicking the arrow icon (down/up)

• Make any account the default account by clicking the star icon

• See the transaction history of the account by clicking the “See actions” button

• Archive the account by clicking the “Archive” button

• Deposit directly to the account by clicking the “Deposit” button
