Withdraw funds from your illumineX wallet

In order to use your assets outside of the illumineX wallet and illumineX Privacy Layer, you first need to Withdraw the asset back to its source blockchain.

Withdrawing assets from your illumineX wallet is private, meaning it does not leave any public trace between the original depositing wallet address and the receiving address to which you withdraw.

Withdrawing crypto-assets

1. Click “Withdraw” either on the home page of your wallet or from the top navigation bar

2. Select the account (“ix” address) you want to withdraw the asset from

3. Select the asset and the amount to withdraw. Keep in mind different assets have different minimum withdrawal amounts and withdrawal fees. The withdrawal fee is displayed on the withdrawal page.

4. Input the receiver address. The receiver address must be an address on the source blockchain that corresponds to the asset you are withdrawing, e.g. if you are withdrawing BTC you need to input a BTC address, if you are withdrawing ETH you need to input an ETH address and so on. Do NOT input an ix address in the receiver address field.

5. Click “Withdraw”

6. Check that all details are correct and click “Confirm”

7. Wait for the withdrawal to complete. You can follow the visual guide on the withdrawal page to keep track of your withdrawal.

Success

Your withdrawal has completed and you will receive your funds to the specified receiver address. The withdrawal will be untraceable to the public, as there is no link between the original deposit and the withdrawal.
